The Overlooked Truth

What No One Tells You About Scars

Every year, millions of people undergo cosmetic surgery – tummy tucks, breast lifts, C-sections, facelifts – hoping to feel more confident in their bodies. But there's something surgeons often don't mention: scars are inevitable.

The untold reality: While surgeons focus on the procedure itself, the visible marks left behind are rarely discussed in detail. Many patients are surprised by how prominent their scars remain – even years later.

The emotional impact: You invested in yourself to feel beautiful, but now a visible scar reminds you constantly. Swimsuits, intimate moments, even looking in the mirror becomes complicated.

The solution most don't know about: Scar camouflage isn't just possible – it's remarkably effective. Using specialized pigments matched precisely to your skin tone, we can make scars virtually invisible.

"You deserve to complete your transformation – not live with a permanent reminder of the journey."

Yes, if:

  • The scar is flat, sunken, or only slightly raised.
  • Its color is lighter (hypopigmented) or darker than the skin.
  • The scar is fully healed (min. 1 year).
  • You have realistic expectations regarding the result.

No, if:

  • The scar is still fresh, red, or purple.
  • The scar's condition is actively changing.
  • You are prone to keloid formation.
  • The area is sunburnt or irritated.

Common Questions

Everything You Need to Know

In medical tattooing, the ink is applied to the skin's base tone with special pigments selected to match the skin's tone. It can also be used effectively to cover accidental or surgical scars, burns, stretch marks, lack of pigmentation, or traces of pigment.

The price is always determined after a consultation. It depends first and foremost on the size of the area. If you want to get an exact idea, please rely on a personal quote. If you have any further questions, our staff will be happy to help you by phone or e-mail. Feel free to contact us!

This depends largely on the patient's pain threshold. It's not so much painful as it is a little uncomfortable in some cases, but even this can be greatly alleviated with a local anaesthetic.

Minor skin imperfections can be effectively and visually corrected in as little as one treatment, but more serious procedures such as areola tattoos require multiple appointments. Our specialists can provide you with precise information during a personal or telephone consultation.

It varies a lot, at least half a year, but it can be up to 1 year before the scar is white. The main thing is that the scar has to bleach out; we cannot treat pink or red areas because the area is still healing.
